You’re Full Of Yourself

A few times in recent weeks I’ve had the chance to ask others a favourite question for sussing out some specifics of an often nebulous inner impulse –

What do you most want people to know, to “get” deep down inside that it could almost, if not actually change their DNA?

Taking the opportunity to poke about once again, I quickly realized my answer has definitely changed since the question was initially posed to me.

Also of note, instead of one clear most, now I waver between two possibilities.

On one hand, what I most want people to get deep down inside is be full of yourself.

Old View Of Full Of Yourself

Full out, Full. Of. Yourself.

I so dearly want people to stop hiding and holding back for fear of being seen as a bragging, swelled headed, chest puffing know-it-all

New Way Of Being Full Of Yourself
and show up as their biggest and brightest, being their real true selves, full out.

When one lights up, others do too. The domino effect kicks in all over.

What this really comes down to … we can’t afford to keep ourselves -and each other – small anymore. We can’t afford to fit in or pretend to be somebody we’re not.

We’re all at a decision point. The changes we know need to be made require all of us to show up and be a part, our part. The time is over to look to one person, even a few, to carry the entire load on their shoulders. The results are in – alone doesn’t work.

Stepping up to let our true selves out in full force, we Lighten the load for everyone else. Empowering each other is really our only way forward. There’s no longer a question of who goes first. We all do.

Lighten The Load

As deeply as I know being full of yourself is DNA changing, I have the same depth of knowing about the other message I most want people to get.

Love this post and the stick men. I’m talking about confidence this month over on my blog and the first post is all about expressing yourself without feeling fake because it can be so difficult when you first try to express yourself because it feels completely different to when you are holding back and being just like everyone else.
